The people at Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing are passionate, professional, and committed to outfitting you with the perfect heliskiing holiday.

Owner and Business Manager
Regina started skiing at age 18, after meeting a group of ski enthusiasts in university while pursuing a degree in Physical Education. It quickly became a passion, and at age 25 she left her teaching job in Calgary to work at a snowcat skiing operation. After guiding there for 10 years, she and her partner Mark moved north and started Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing. She now manages the business end of things at Crescent Spur and loves it when she can join the guests in the mountains for a day in her “outside office.” Regina and Mark have a grown daughter, Bryna.

Owner and Ops Manager, Lead Guide
Mark started Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing in 1992 with Regina. Raised in Crescent Spur, Mark began his guiding in 1982 in southern BC. This experience awakened him to the potential for heli-skiing in the area. Mark skis approximately one million vertical feet each season, giving him an intimate knowledge of the local mountains. He still is excited about finding and developing new terrain. Mark feels a deep commitment to this industry, which has given him such unique opportunities and experiences. He has been active in HeliCat Canada for many years, both as a Board member and member of the Standards Committee. Mark is also a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association.

Erin's cheerful voice is most likely the one that you will hear when you call the lodge and she is always ready to greet the skiers after a great day in the mountains.

However, the lure of skiing and the mountains took him in a different direction when he switched to theThompson Rivers University Adventure Guide Program. Alice originally hails from Orillia, Ontario. She gained a degree in Philosophy at the University of King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After putting away her tree-planting bags this past summer, she decided that the West Coast has her heart. Thanks to Google, she found Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing and is now tremendously happy to work with all of us at the lodge. Feel free to pull up a stool and have a drink!

Massage Therapist
Born and raised a prairie girl, Meagan has always been drawn to the mountains. She studied massage therapy at the University of Saskatchewan. Her love of the wilderness eventually led her to take a job at a fly-in fishing lodge in Northern Saskatchewan. After falling in love with the lodge lifestyle and catching the travel bug, she began to search westward, to Crescent Spur, and she is thrilled to be enjoying her first season here!

Family Hound
Tuffy is the family hound at Crescent Spur, with a big heart, a loud bark, and maybe a bit of “small dog syndrome.” Don’t worry; he’ll warm up to you by the end of your stay (sort of).
We are very fortunate to have an incredible staff of dedicated, enthusiastic, and professional individuals. Our house staff, bartender, chefs, and support staff, all join together to make an effective team who work hard to ensure that guests have the very best heliskiing or heli boarding holiday possible.
