Friends new and old from Germany, Brazil, Switzerland, the U.S. and the UK made for a dynamic and very fun week! We have transitioned to spring skiing – some warmer temperatures, but squalls brought fresh powder and we had some awesome days in the mountains. Thanks to all who joined us!
This week was truly epic with cold temperatures, tons of fresh dry powder, and a extensive tour of our tenure. We skied the classics runs Notre Dame, Waimea, Cathedral, Plasticos and Belt Grinder in the Dore Wendle area of the Cariboos, and headed to the trees on Friday to ski Highlander, Immortality and Lagavulin among others. In the Rockies we had a fantastic day in Mount Rider on Scotty’s, Haggard Glacier and Primero and hit fantastic tree skiiing in the Morkill including Valentinos, Kickin’ Country, Piano Man and OTK.
A huge thanks to all who joined us to make this such a fun and memorable week!
Another fantastic week in the mountains! Many of our guests expressed that they had experienced the best runs or even the best week of skiing of their lives. We did a great tour of our tenure this week: Awesome tree skiing on Valentino’s and Piano Man in the Morkill area of the Rockies; an epic big forest day on Highlander and Immortality in Macleod Creek in the Cariboos with top to bottom faceshots; beautiful runs on the glaciers in the Cariboos and deep powder runs on Scotty’s, Warlock and ProBowl in the Rockies. Thanks to all who joined us for this incredible week!
This week so far…
More snow in the forecast for the next 10 days with temps between -12 C and -1 C. More great skiing to come!
One of the best weeks of the season! Fresh snow and cool temperatures made for perfect conditions all week. We experienced powder faceshots and a great mix of tree skiing and alpine days in the Rockies and the Cariboos. We will let the pictures speak for themselves. Thanks to all who joined us for the epic week!
PS – 1 space left March 4-11! Join us for some fun in the mountains!
A fantastic and diverse week – we had a little bit of everything. Epic powder days in the trees and alpine, a couple of days with warmer temps and difficult conditions, and we ended with a fantastic day in the Cariboos on classic runs on Nuantuk and Sass II in fresh powder.
We will let the pictures speak for themselves. 🙂
We had up to 70 cm of new snow with minimal wind at the beginning of the week and spent the first few days skiing in the Morkill and Macleod Creek. Mid week the skies skies cleared and we ventured into the the infamous glaciated terrain in the Cariboos where we skied from the mountain tops to the valley bottoms on dry preserved powder. Overall a awesome week!
A fantastic day in Macleod Creek with 40 cm of fresh powder and face shots top to bottom! A happy and tired group of skiers!
A great week with awesome people! We had some fantastic skiing and some challenging skiing… great day in Mount Rider area in the Rocky Mountains, and some excellent skiing down on the glaciers in the southern Cariboos. On Friday we battled weather a bit, but had some great runs in the Morkill to end off the week. Cooler temps and snow in the forecast for next week.
We had a great week in the mountains- some challenging warmer weather, but some great skiing and spectacular days at the end of the week. Thanks to all who joined us and made this week a very fun week!
