It’s been a tough week, but the last two days we have had some good skiing, and we have seen some spectacular terrain! Like much of the province, early in the week we had warm temperatures and rain to high elevations. Cloudy, stormy skies kept us from getting out skiing Sunday through Tuesday. Both today and Wednesday we had great days on the glaciers in the Cariboos. We got about 5-15 cm of fresh snow on Tuesday which made for some good turns in the alpine.
Given the difficult weather and warm temperatures of the past few days, we were pleasantly surprised with the conditions. The lower elevations are still a little rough, but there is snow and cooler temperatures in the forecast! Let it snow!!
