CS Fall News

The snow is building in the mountains and if the forecasters are accurate in their predictions, it is going to be a big winter! We look forward to lots of snow to celebrate our 25th season!

We welcomed the first guests to our lodge in 1992. While we knew it would be a wonderful ride, the past 25 years have exceeded our wildest dreams. So many wonderful people , adventure,  and the magic of the mountains has kept the dream fresh for us and we look forward to sharing many more.

This season will see some changes to our staff. After 19 years as lead guide for Crescent Spur, Adam is moving on to help a fledgling heli ski operation develop their program. His extensive knowledge in all areas of the heli ski program will be invaluable to White Wilderness Heli-Skiing. We give him our heartfelt best wishes for success. We also thank him for his years with Crescent Spur, not only for his expert guiding, but also for the many other roles he played within the company.

Stepping into a lead guide position is Jesse Milner – our mountaineer extraordinaire. Jesse attained his full ski guide certification this spring and is looking forward to applying his skills to give our guests great skiing and mountain experiences. Christine will be back as Lodge Manager, Anna will be serving up delicious cocktails at the bar, and the Dream Team of Chef Greg and Ryota will be back to create incredible meals.

As he is every “off season”, Mark has been busy with several improvements to the lodge. A bigger and better boot room, a bigger retail space and a beautiful wine room to hold our extensive list of fantastic wines.

We still have a few spaces left in our 2017 season, and our general booking for our 2018 season opens on November 21, 2016.

Let it snow!
